New Survey Lists NOLA as the Sixth Most Fun U.S. City
Personal-finance website WalletHub has released its updated list of the top 20 most fun cities in the U.S., and New Orleans has made the list in sixth place.
The survey analyzed 65 key indicators in three categories: entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and costs.
New Orleans comes in just under San Francisco, California and above Austin, Texas as an overall placement on the list of fun cities. New Orleans has also been ranked as first for festivals per capita,10th for number of attractions, and 11th for dance clubs per capita. Overall, New Orleans is ranked 18th for entertainment and recreation, fourth for nightlife and parties, and 129th for costs.
WalletHub has compiled their list by comparing more than 180 U.S. cities and analyzing metrics including movie costs and average business hours of breweries. The purpose of the survey is to put together a list of cities that have fun things to do without going over the budget.
