Abita to Open a Second Brewery Location in New Orleans

On March 26, Wednesday, at 11 a.m., the Abita Brewing Company will have its grand opening of their second brewery on the corner of First and Tchoupitoulas in New Orleans.

With the newly open Southshore location at 2375 Tchoupitoulas St., both locals and visitors to New Orleans can enjoy the brewery's rich history, innovative brewing techniques, and their signature brews at their own convenience. This specific brewery offers over 30 beers on tap, including Abita's iconic favorites alongside new, limited-edition brews exclusive to that location only.

"We're brewing on a smaller scale here, which gives us the freedom to experiment and craft innovative beers that you can only find at this location," said President Troy Ashley in a press release.

In addition to their wide selection of beers on tap, this location will also feature a rotating selection of food vendors, offering a variety of options for all customers to enjoy alongside their brews so no one visit is ever the same.

Despite changes in location, Abita Brewing Company assures customers that their brewing process has not changed with a commitment of utilizing pure, artesian spring water for their quality brews.
