The Jazz Museum is currently expanding its educational programming efforts through school tours, summer camp opportunities, internships, and key partnerships. One way that you can help support the Jazz Museum's efforts is by purchasing a ticket to the Improvisations Gala.

The Improvisation Gala will be held on December 7th, from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at the Jazz Museum. It's an evening of elegant music, dancing, art, and illumination shows. Featuring libations, New Orleans Cuisine, live music from both local and nationally appreciated talents, the Improvisations Gala will sure to be an evening worth remembering. There will also be a silent auction of distinctly curated items, as well as a wonderful Sound Collage installation to be paired with the LUNA Fête Celebration of Light.

The music roster includes The Soul Rebels, the Pinettes featuring Big Freedia, Lena Prima, Charmaine Neville, Meschiya Lake, Seth Finch Trio, Treme-Lafitte Brass Band, and many, many more.

The menu will feature dishes from local icons in cuisine such as Galatoire's, Dickie Brennan's, ACME, Desi Vegas Steakhouse, ZEA, Monty's, Creole Cuisine, Mister B's, just to name a few.

If you're interested in helping the Jazz Museum's mission of expansion and development of the local community, while having a lovely evening out, you can purchase your tickets here.
