The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) and Grammy Award-winning Lost Bayou Ramblers released the recording of their world premiere collaboration concert.
This concert took place during LPO's 22-23 season, on January 15, at the Orpheum Theatre. The live concert is now available on all major streaming platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.

"Artists like the Lost Bayou Ramblers are deeply seeded within Louisiana's musical identity and are vessels of our state's cherished Cajun culture to the music industry at large," says LPO Executive Director Anwar Nasir.
"It was a tremendous honor to make music with this phenomenal group of musicians and an even greater honor to share this music with the world," says Nasir.
The band, Lost Bayou Ramblers, plays music rooted in Cajun traditions. The band was started in 1999 by brothers Andre and Louis Michot. The band's latest studio album, "Kalenda," received a Grammy Award.

The Lost Bayou Ramblers were named Big Easy Awards' Entertainers of the Year in 2019, and had feature in Rolling Stone Magazine, National Geographic and The New Yorker in 2021.
Lost Bayou Ramblers inhabits to cultural crossroads between Cajun and Creole music, and mixes experimentation with tradition. The band's music is a mix of modern rhymes with old-school Cajun melodies.
