A Decade of Support

Located on the bustling streets of the French Quarter, Grace at the Green Light has served as a pillar of support for the unhoused community of New Orleans for the past decade. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Grace at the Green Light will continue its mission with a special event on July 8 from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the St. Jude Community Center on N. Rampart St.

As Grace at the Green Light has done for the past 10 years, volunteers will be on hand to serve a fresh, hot breakfast. Beyond the meal, the event will feature a range of essential services including healthcare, haircuts, showers, and laundry facilities designed to address the immediate needs of the unhoused through promoting wellness and dignity. In partnership with Santosha Village, the Kula Blue Bus is offering on-site medical support along with a medical clinic provided by Free Standing Communities. Hygiene and clothing items will also be distributed, ensuring that participants leave with the essentials that they need.

Grace at the Green Light welcomes all unhoused community members to attend the celebration and take advantage of the services being provided. Moreover, all community members looking to make a difference are encouraged to volunteer at the celebration.
