Nancy Parker, the WVUE Fox 8 news anchor, who passed away in a plane crash last August, has recently been immortalized by the Krewe of King Arthur.

The Krewe has revealed a new float this year, entirely dedicated to Parker and her memory. It features a bust of Parker, with a halo surrounding her head. The inscription below regards Parker as "New Orleans' newest saint."

But this isn't the first time this Mardi Gras Parker has been honored. Her impact stretches all the way to the Krewe of 'tit Rex and their parade through the Marigny back on February 9, the Krewe having prepared a float in her honor.

The Krewe of Nyx, which rolls out on Wednesday, has designed a trademark throw honoring Parker, having appointed Parker as the Krewe's grand marshal for this year before she died.
