Neutral Ground: New Orleans 1990-2005

In his breathtaking book, Greiner presents a notable visual narrative of New Orleans pre-Katrina using strikingly vibrant colors. In the classic styles of William Eggleston and Birney Imes, Greiner captures the cultural spirit of the city, pre-disaster, using abstract images, such as an abandoned armchair framed within arsenic-green walls and a variety of pastel colors inside a Chinese restaurant. The 86 images contained in this book showcase his lifetime dedicated to documenting place through the creation of art.
