New Orleans Saints’s punter Thomas Morstead announced on Twitter the birth of a new baby girl on Friday, February 15. This is his and his wife, Lauren’s, fourth child together.

Morstead, 32, posted a photo online with the caption, “It’s a girl and I’m in Love! Rosalie (ROZ-ah-lee, in honor of my grandmother) Grace Morstead. Lauren is a rockstar. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and encouragement. We are so grateful."

Morstead has been the Saints’s punter for the past 10 seasons and is largely considered to be one of the best in the NFL. At the end of his rookie season, he made his mark with an onside kick attempt recovered by the Saints, beginning the second half of their Super Bowl win. His average punt is 49.6 yards per attempt, which ranks third in league history.

Morstead has a year-round home in the New Orleans area and often gives back to the community with his wife through their What You Give Will Grow foundation.
