The Voice of the Wetlands Festival Returns to New Orleans for its 16th Year This Fall

The 16th Annual Voice of the Wetlands Festival to be held October 11-12-13.Held at 5407 West Park Ave in Houma, the three day festival offers live music, local Cajun cuisine, an area for kids to play, and an art market.This year, there will be an area dedicated for those who want to camp at the festival over night.Bring your RV or favorite tent and stay within walking distance of the main festival area.Relax under the stars after a long of live blues, jazz, rock, country, and cajun music.If you don't want to camp at the festival, plenty of affordable hotels are in the area.

The festival will feature the best local talent and some great national acts that embody the spirit of New Orleans music.The lineup this year will include Eric Johanson, Jenna Guidry, Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, Waylon Thibodaux, Late Night Jam Sessions, Jeff McCartyBand, and many more.In addition to all these exciting activities, this event is completely free and open to the public.Don't miss out on this unique, classic New Orleans festival.
