The Soul Rebels Are Making Their Way Back to NOLA

The Soul Rebels are made up of eight talented musicians with a love for soul. Originating in New Orleans, they had the idea to expand upon the pop music they loved on the radio and the New Orleans brass tradition they grew up on. To do so, they took that tradition and blended funk and soul with elements of hip hop, jazz, and rock, all within a brass band context.

They've performed with Katy Perry, been featured on NPR's Tiny Desk series, appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, headlined a set at the TED Conference, and collaborated with talented artists such as G-Eazy, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Macy Gray, and more. Being that their art comes straight from the heart & soul of New Orleans music, it's only fitting that they'll be spending a large amount of their upcoming tour here. They are returning to NOLA soon, and you won't want to miss them!

There will be many opportunities for you to see them perform live and witness the lively energy of their music. First, they'll be taking the stage at the famous Tipitina's on September 25. Then they'll be joining the fun at French Quarter Festival on October 1. Throughout October, they'll be performing at venues around the city including Joy Theater, Blue Nile, The Broadside, Ace Hotel, and even Fried Chicken Fest!

This stop is part of their Epic Vibes Tour. They'll be leaving their legacy across more than 13 states this year, covering the Midwest, Northeast, The South, and the West Coast. The Tour starts in Milwaukee, WI in the fall of 2021 and will end in April 2022 somewhere in the Northeast (Northeast stops have yet to be announced). At some stops, you can expect guest artists including Tarriona 'Tank' Ball of Tank and The Bangas, jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold, as well as hip hop icon GZA of Wu Tang Clan.

This tour is following the recent collaboration and partnership with Sony 360 Reality Audio. The partnership features The Soul Rebels' latest album Poetry In Motion in the 360 format, providing listeners an entirely new and immersive way to experience the album. You can stream this version on Amazon Music HD, Tidal HiFi, and Deezer HiFi. The Soul Rebels can also be viewed in Sony produced and released advertisements and digital commercials. Before their tour, they'll be releasing new music in anticipation. Start listening and get your tickets because The Soul Rebels are ready to refill the streets of New Orleans with their music!
