New Orleans Lager & Ale (NOLA) Brewing prepares to release its newest brewing adventure, Hop'd Tea! The unique product is immediately available on tap at the business' 3001 Tchoupitoulas Street location and may be purchased in 16oz cans beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 26th.
According to company President and COO, Dylan Lintern, Hop'd Tea is an entirely new product for NOLA Brewing and the craft beer industry at large. An alcohol-free sparkling tea, it is the perfect beverage for health-conscious consumers interested in a delicious alternative to beer. NOLA will release two all-natural, low calorie and low in sugar flavors of Hop'd Tea, Oolong and Rose Hip Hibiscus, in the NOLA Brewing Tap Room on Ash Wednesday. Containing just 25 calories and 5 grams of sugar, Oolong is a carbonated, minimally caffeinated, bright, slightly smoky green tea that is sure to satisfy! It's complemented brilliantly by the sweet, tropical notes of the Citra and Sabro Hops. Its partner, Rose Hip Hibiscus, maintains the tart, fruity and floral qualities of rose hip hibiscus, along with the bright citrus and wine-like palates of the Hallertau Blanc and Lemon Drop hops. This intricate, caffeine-free sparkling tea comes with just 5 calories and 0 grams of sugar!
