The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation has established a Jazz & Heritage Music Relief Fund for Louisiana musicians. With so many music venues closed and events postponed or cancelled because of COVID-19, a great number of musicians who rely on live performances for their income are struggling to provide for themselves.

Any professional musician currently living in Louisiana who has worked for one or more years and relies on live performances for a substantial part of his or her income is invited to apply for relief from the fund. Applications are open now, and will remain open until the fund reaches capacity.
