Two acts that played on Saturday that may have unjustifiably flown under the radar are Mattiel and Seratones. Both played around the same time on Saturday, but both were also well worth checking out.

Seratones originated out of Shreveport and have a sound that mixes soul with rock. The singer AJ Haynes has an incredibly powerful, passionate, and stirring voice that made the band stand out on Saturday.

Mattiel is, obviously, singer Mattiel Brown's first name. The band plays a style reminiscent of 60s era rock and pop. Mattiel even quipped during the show that "everything up here is created by musicians," after she mentioned that there were no iPads on stage.

Both of these acts were worth the price of admission and may have even outperformed some of the headliners.
