If you feel like you have watched every single show, movie, or documentary on Netflix and think that there is nothing left for you to do with your free time, you might be wrong. Check out these five virtual events, happening this week on your nearest computer. The list below includes a variety of activities for all kinds of preferences and age groups.

Nightly Metropolitan Opera Streams

The Metropolitan Opera is offering their audience members the opportunity to watch a different opera function each night of the week. The performances will be made available on the Met website for 23 hours, starting at 6:30 p.m. (CST) and ending at 5:30 p.m. the day after. The streaming schedule will feature performances starring the Opera's greatest singers. Some of the functions for this week include Puccini's Manon Lescaut on Monday, Bizet's Carmen on Tuesday, and Verdi's Rigoletto on Wednesday. Metroopera.org

Garden Cookout With Big Freedia

New Orleans bounce-music legend Big Freedia has been hosting weekly livestream cooking shows in order to keep connected to her fans and to share her favorite recipes. She will be hosting this week's show on Thursday evening, from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The show will be available on Big Freedia's Facebook page, where you can also catch a recording of some of the shows that she has done since the beginning of July.

Online Yoga classes by the Ohm Well

This New Orleans Yoga Studio is offering a variety of virtual classes that provide both relaxation and exercise. The studio's website has a full schedule of programming for those who wish to attend a class during the week. Cincinnati's Zoo Daily Livestream

This livestream is perfect for all animal-lovers and children who want to stay connected with nature's wonders without leaving their homes. The Cincinnati Zoo does a daily "Home Safari" show, which can be accessed on the zoo's Facebook page every day at 3 p.m. Each episode features a different animal and is accompanied by a friendly educational activity for kids that can be done at home. cincinnatizoo.org/home-safari-resources

Soul Heirs Porch Concert

This event is perfect for all jazz-lovers who want to relax and appreciate some jazz music on a Sunday afternoon. Desmian Barnes and the members of his band will be playing jazz starting at 6:00 p.m. this Sunday.
