The 2020 New Orleans Bourbon Festival (NOBF) was cancelled due to social-distancing guidelines, yet the NOBF has found a way to celebrate while prioritizing the health and safety of Bourbon-lovers. The NOBF is putting on a raffle—one where purchasing a ticket offers the chance of winning 14 NOBF store picks, worth over $800 retail. Tickets are running for $25 each or a deal of five for $100. The drawing will take place on December 20. Click here to purchase your tickets now.

The NOBF's mission is, according to their website, "to provide our attendees with an opportunity to enjoy exceptional bourbon and cuisine surrounded by the charm and culture of New Orleans." Considering alcohol is an important staple to New Orleans and its culture (we even have a street named Bourbon!), the NOBF is a crucial event in uniting lovers of delicious alcohol, as well as enthusiasts of the unique NOLA culture.

The NOBF highlights women in bourbon, recruits event sponsors who have similar missions, features distilleries and restaurants with highly esteemed bourbon, provides experienced speakers, and works with distilleries to create innovative themes. The NOBF works incredibly hard to provide an educational, exciting, and lively atmosphere at their festivals; this spirit continues even in the raffle.

Kids Can NOLA, the NOBF's permanent charitable beneficiary, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the health and happiness of children by fulfilling educational, medical, and other miscellaneous needs.

The NOBF hopes to host the next in-person festival in 2021, from March 17 to 21.
