Clowning Around at NOLA's Joy Theater
The Joy Theater on 1200 Canal St. was filled with music, drag, wrestling, and clowns during the Clownhole event on April 5.
The two main entertainment acts for the night included Choke Hole, a uniquely campy wrestling act that places a queer lens on professional wrestling, and LSD Clownsystem, a New Orleans clown-themed LCD Soundsystem cover band. The night also had DJ sets from H33LTURN.
From music to pile-driving action, this was an experience that attendees won't soon forget.
