Once again, the days between Jazz Fest weekends will be filled with music, brews, and literally tons of spicy boiled crawfish at the NOLA Crawfish Festival. This year's festival has a powerhouse lineup of local musicians, including Anders Osborne, Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, Marcus King, Duane Trucks, Luther Dickinson and Grahame Lesh.
In addition to the tasty critters of honor, stand-up local music and beer, and other culinary classics like jambalaya, the festival also includes a 7-minute Crawfish Eatin' Championship and the Ultimate Crawfish Cook-Off, in which celebrity judges will select the most delectable pot of crawfish from 20 competing teams.
The festival, sponsored by Nola Crawfish King in conjunction with Louisiana Fish Fry and King Kooker, is scheduled for April 27, 28, and 29.
Early Bird tickets are now on sale, with prices beginning at $99 for General Admission and a daily serving of boiled crawfish. VIP tickets are $299; Super VIP, $399. Visit nolacrawfish.com for more details and to purchase tickets.
