1. The Apothecary

Simply known as The Apothecary, this establishment's full name is Boutique Du Vampyre's Apothecary, and it is exactly that: a place dedicated to vampires. This place has everything from tarot readings and custom fangs to craft cocktails and more. The Apothecary also offers collagen coffee and health teas like Blood Rea and Wolf's Bane Blend. Their most famous drink is surely the Blood Bag. The Blood Bag is aptly named, served in a medical blood bag but filled with Fangria, their house sangria mix.

The food follows suit in being fun and inventive but equally delicious. Enjoy steak tartare, fresh oysters, pink pickled eggs, baked brie, and more.


2. Peacock Room

Rosie's on the Roof is aptly named, located on the roof of the Higgins Hotel. The hotel is adjacent to and part of the National World War II Museum, and the restaurant is named after Rosie the Riveter. Rosie the Riveter is known best as the iconic WWII posters encouraging women to work during the war, and the bar is decorated in memoriam of that time period.

History buff and foodies alike will love dining at Rosie's with a view of downtown New Orleans. Order crab beignets, chargrilled scallops, and even a corned beef sandwich that is sure to satisfy any craving.


5. Café Amelie

Café Amelie opened in 2005 and received its namesake from the first American princess of Monaco's mother, who was a native New Orleanian. Ever since, Café Amelie has been serving New Orleans delicious fresh food in a historical and unique setting.
