New Orleans takes food seriously. Hosting
hundreds of food festivals each year, the city also takes events very
seriously. In the true New Orleans spirit of celebration, Top Taco is excited
to announce that it is back on! On September 23, 2021, the taco taste
test will commence!
For $75, you can
participate in unlimited grand taco and cocktail tastings, tequila tasting,
live entertainment, and have the opportunity to vote on the best tacos at Top Taco, which will be located at
Lafreniere Park in Metairie! Interested in more? Look into 1st taste
tickets, which include an exclusive taco, cocktail, and tequila tasting. But
there's still more! Make it a special occasion and purchase VIP tickets for
$125. VIP tickets include a private shaded lounge area featuring El Tesoro
Tequila and cocktails from the Black Duck Bar, as well as extra exclusive Anejo
Paradiso tastings.
While it is
exciting to attend in person again, the safety of the community remains the top
priority as the COVID-19 pandemic still poses a threat to those who are
unvaccinated or immunocompromised. The event will be entirely outdoors and
equipped with handwashing and sanitizing stations. All staff and volunteers
will wear a mask. Additionally, masks are highly encouraged for patrons when in
crowded areas and are required when waiting in line at the entrance. Additionally,
proof of vaccination or a negative test are required for entry to the event. Organizers
of the event ask that you do not attend Top Taco if you are feeling sick.
