Even with a raging pandemic wreaking havoc, Galatoire's has managed to raise funds for much needed services. The Annual Christmas Table Auction was held at the long-running restaurant's new dining location Galerie de Galatoire on Royal Street. Fewer tables were auctioned off than before because they are distanced out, yet the tables fetched $38,700! This year, the money will go to Kingsley House, STAIR, Grace at the Greenlight and The Galatoire Foundation.
CEO of Kingsley House Keith Liederman commented. "Like Galatoire's, Kingsley House has been committed to families of New Orleans for a long time. Next year, we will celebrate our 125th anniversary serving as a pillar of strength and service to this community. It is the generosity of supporters like the Galatoire Foundation, and those participating in the annual Christmas Auction, that allows Kingsley House to provide life-changing services annually to more than 8,000 children, families, at-risk seniors, veterans, and medically fragile adults."
