It was a packed house Friday night, at Tipitinas, as The Soul Rebels debuted their latest album, Poetry in Motion. The night started with a VIP party held at Tchoup House. Guests enjoyed complimentary beverages along with Soul Food and Ya-Ka-Mein from the Ya-Ka-Mein Lady herself, Ms. Linda Green. At Tipitinas, The Soul Rebels performed hits from their latest album including "Blow The Horns" and "Greatness". With the audience in full participation, The Soul Rebels rocked the crowd showing that this album can not be boxed into one specific genre. The award winning band was recently featured in forbes and are continuing to make major moves. The album includes features from Big Freedia, PJ Morton, Dee-1, Robert Glasper and many more. Members of the band include; Derrick Moss (Bass Drum), Lumar Leblanc (Snare Drum), Julian Gosin (Trumpet), Corey Peyton (Trombone), Erion Williams (Saxophone), Paul Robertson (Trombone), Manuel Perkins Jr, (Sousaphone), and Marcus Hubbard (Trumpet).
