Southern Living has recently announced the 2020 South's Best Awards winners, with New Orleans ranked no. 4 on the Best 2020 list of Top cities in the South. Spanning everything from hotels and restaurants to cities, small towns and shopping, Southern Living recognizes readers' favorite Southern destinations and experiences. And New Orleans has amassed 10 accolades across top ten lists, with three No. 1 wins for Best Food City and Best Classic Restaurant.
The results are available on Southern Living's website, and in their April issue, on sale March 20. Southern Living, headquartered in Birmingham Alabama, is aimed at celebrating the remarkable encounters that characterize Southern hospitality. Sid Evans, Editor in Chief of Southern Living, notes it is their goal, "to identify the destinations our readers are loving the most right now - places that represent the very best of the South." This year's awards show a distinctive mixture of novices and experts.
