French Quarter Festival 2020 has been pushed back two weeks to accommodate the NCAA Women's Final Four basketball tournament, the festival announced on Thursday.
French Quarter Fest will now be held from April 16 to 19. The move, according to a spokesperson, was made to avoid "putting a strain on city services." The festival has been rescheduled in the past to circumvent Easter Sunday and other conflicts.
The 2020 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will open at the Fair Grounds race track just four days after French Quarter Fest concludes.
