The weather this summer has been relentlessly hot. With steady 80-90° temperatures, staying outside for extended periods of time requires you to drink copious amounts of water to prevent dehydration. That makes any chance to cool down and have fun even more valuable. Well, the Audubon Zoo is providing the chance to do both and take a break from the kids with the Sip + Dip adult-only party.
When the sun goes down on July 27, Audubon will begin their first ever Sip + Dip party at their water park, the Audubon Cool Zoo. Those who are 21 and older will have access to most of the Cool Zoo's features including their 750-foot lazy river, the Gator Run. Starting at 7 p.m. the party will have several adult games and a live DJ. Tickets will include three complimentary drinks and two "light bite" options. But if that's not enough then you can purchase additional drinks and food, just remember to drink responsibly.
Whether you decide to cruise around the Gator Run while sipping a cocktail or want to enjoy a beer and some games, the Sip + Dip party will provide. Tickets will run $30 per person and are only purchasable online. If you want to return to the Cool Zoo with your kids or on a regular day-trip with friends, the water park is open 7 days a week until August 4.
